T h omas B a ber - Pastor

A native of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Thomas holds a Masters in Divinity degree from The Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, California. He joined the EBC staff as an associate pastor in 2006 and became the senior pastor in December of 2007. Thomas also holds a B.S. degree ('93) and an M.S. degree ('99) from Texas A&M University.

Thomas is married to his wife, Nancy, and the couple has six children. They live in College Station, Texas.

 

Clyde Wilton - Pastor Emeritus

Clyde was born in Germyn, Texas. He graduated with a B.A. degree in Bible with a minor in English from Howard Payne University. After marrying his wife, LaRue, he went on to complete a Masters in Systematic Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

While serving as an Air Force Chaplin in Japan, he established Misawa Baptist Church. Clyde retired from the Air Force and became the pastor of Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen, Texas for 5 years. In 1967, he came to Emmanuel Baptist Church and served as pastor for 40 years.

Clyde has 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. He has written four books: "The Wilton Translation" - Greek to English New Testament, Essentials of the Greek New Testament, Clyde Wilton's Wit, and "Ruth from Moab" - Hebrew to English Translation. Clyde resides in Bryan, Texas
